This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to information when you use 2 Week Notice Template. The short version: the letter writer runs in your browser and what you type into it is never sent to us.

The letter writer

When you use the 2 week notice template writer, your answers, names, dates and the finished letter stay in your browser. They are not uploaded, not stored on our servers and not shared. Reloading or closing the page clears them. Ticks on the checklist are not saved either.

The only thing the writer keeps on your device is your paper size choice (Letter or A4), stored in your browser so it is ready next time. You can clear it by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Downloads

Template files are ordinary downloads. Word files you make in the writer are built in your browser, so the text in them never reaches us.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views and button clicks, such as how often the writer is used, which tone people pick, and which file formats are downloaded. These counts never include your names, dates, the text of your letter or anything else you type. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart; you can block them in your browser settings without breaking the site.

The contact form

If you send a message through the contact form, we store your message, your name and email address if you give them, the date, and the country your request came from, so we can read it and reply. We use this only to answer you and to improve the site. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Security and abuse protection

To stop automated spam, the contact form runs a small check in your browser, and our server counts requests from each connection for a short time. Those counts use a scrambled version of your IP address, never the address itself, and they expire.

Selling or sharing data

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. There are no ads on this site.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact form.
